Construction
Project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, estimating, and legacy system upgrades for family-owned builders and construction firms.

Who this is for
This might be you.
Estimating and scheduling live in someone's head and a spreadsheet.
Your most experienced people are the ones holding the most information. When they're on-site or out of reach, the office waits.
Subcontractor coordination is managed through calls and texts.
You know who's supposed to be where — mostly. Keeping subs aligned, tracking confirmations, and following up when something changes is a part-time job on its own.
Change orders and approvals create paperwork that slows everything down.
A simple scope change triggers a chain of emails, signatures, and follow-ups. By the time it's approved, someone's already moved on — or made the change anyway.
There's a better way to run this.
The approach
How I work in this space.
Understand the job site before designing the software.
Construction software fails when it's built for the office and used in the field. I design for the environment where the work actually happens — often a phone or tablet in a loud, outdoor setting.
Connect the field to the office.
The biggest inefficiency in construction operations is usually the gap between what's happening on site and what the office knows. I build systems that close that gap in real time.
Modernize without disrupting existing relationships.
Subcontractors, vendors, and clients don't change their habits overnight. I design systems that don't require everyone else to adopt new tools just to work with you.
What I Build
Systems I build for construction.
Tools for builders and contractors — built for the field, not just the office.
- Project scheduling toolsScheduling systems that reflect how construction actually works.
- Subcontractor coordinationInvitations, confirmations, and updates — without the phone tag.
- Change order workflowsApprovals that move fast and leave a paper trail.
- Estimating toolsCustom estimating systems built around your process.
- Legacy system modernizationOld tools replaced or extended — without disrupting what's working.
- Ongoing supportAvailable as the business grows.

Common questions
Before you reach out.
Our team isn't very tech-savvy. Will they actually use this?
That's the most important design constraint. I build for the person who's skeptical of new software — simple, fast, and hard to break.
We work with subs who have their own tools. Can we still integrate?
Yes. The system accommodates people who use it directly and people who interact through simpler touchpoints — a text, an email, or a basic web link.
Do you build for the field or the office?
Both — and the connection between them. A scheduling tool that only the office uses creates the same problem you already have.
How do you handle project-based billing?
I scope by project. You get a clear cost for a defined deliverable — not an open-ended retainer. If ongoing support makes sense after launch, we'll set that up separately.
