Pricing
The standard rate is $6,000 a month. Choose the $3,000 managed option when you want to save money and don’t need to own the code yet.$500 Software Blueprint
Every engagement begins by defining the idea, what should be built, the important features and user flows, the technical approach, and the recommended development plan. If you continue with Pixelswithin, the $500 can be credited toward your first month.
$6,000/month — Client-Owned Software
This is the standard Pixelswithin engagement. You own the source code created for your business from the start, while Pixelswithin continues designing, building, launching, maintaining, fixing, and developing the product with you.
This is a good fit when code ownership matters now, when you already have in-house engineers, or when you expect to hand the product to your own technical team later.
$3,000/month — Managed Software
Choose this option when you want to lower the monthly cost and do not need to own or hand off the source code yet. Pixelswithin designs, builds, hosts, maintains, and continues developing the product while owning and maintaining the underlying code.
You still own your business, brand, users, customer relationships, data, domain, app-store accounts, and other business accounts. You bring the ideas, priorities, problems, and feedback; Pixelswithin handles the engineering, infrastructure, updates, and technical maintenance.
The difference is ownership, not twice as much development
$6,000/month: You own the code as it is created, making future handoff straightforward.
$3,000/month: You save $3,000 each month by letting Pixelswithin own and manage the code for you.
Buy the code later for $36,000
If you begin with Managed Software and later decide you want full ownership, the source-code buyout rate is $36,000. This lets you save on the monthly rate now without closing off the option to own the code later.
No long-term minimum
If you stop the subscription, ongoing development, updates, maintenance, and Pixelswithin Studio access stop. Your data remains exportable. Any hosting or third-party service costs still need to be covered if you want the product to remain live.
